ETI is a £1B public private partnership between international industrial companies with a strong focus on energy, and the UK government.  It aims to accelerate the development and deployment of low-carbon technologies to meet the UK’s energy targets.  Its industry members are BP, Shell, E.ON, EDF, Caterpillar.

It is hosted by the Midlands Energy Consortium of Birmingham, Loughborough and Nottingham Universities.
