Intelligent Energy

Intelligent Energy is a clean power systems company that started out as a Loughborough University spin out and now employs around 130 people worldwide.  It develops and produces hydrogen fuel cell and hydrogen generation technologies for aerospace, defence, transportation, oil, gas and distributed generation and portable power.

It partners with leading companies globally including Scottish & Southern Energy plc with whom it has a joint venture to commercialise fuel cell combined heat and power systems, and The Suzuki Motor Corporation and Airbus. Recent successes include the development of the world's first hydrogen fuel cell motorbike and supplying the fuel cell system to Boeing that powered the world's first manned fuel cell aircraft.
